Manassas Mall is Becoming a Community Hub
When Prince William County non-profits, charities, community organizations and businesses look to get the word out, they are increasingly turning to Manassas Mall for event hosting and promotion. Over the coming weeks, the mall is hosting and sponsoring everyone from the AARP to the Girl Scouts!
Saturday, February 23rd, Manassas Mall is promoting two events for major community partners. First, Heritage Landscaping Services will be hosting a job fair in the food court from 11:00am – 3:00pm. Job-seekers are encouraged to apply in person for a wide variety of positions, and meet their future teammates at HLS! At the same time, Piedmont Physical Therapy will be hosting a blood drive right down the road in the parking lot of the Virginia Department of Social Services on Rixlew Lane. Stop by the Inova BloodMobile, make a lifesaving donation, and mention Manassas Mall!
This weekend, Samoa and Thin Mint season officially kicks off in the Macy’s and Walmart courts. The Girl Scouts, and their famous cookies, will be at the mall every weekend between now and March 17th!
Looking ahead into March, the Mall is hosting the AARP for a speaker series on staying active, energetic and informed. The March 6th speaker will be focusing on the five pillars of brain health. Presentations begin at 9:15am in the Food Court! Other topics include home fitness on April 3rd, and identity theft prevention on May 1st.
Also in March is the annual Manassas Mall Camp Fair, where vendors from summer camps across Virginia send representatives to meet with families about their programs! Last year’s event drew over a dozen camps, and this year looks to be even bigger! Stop by the At Home court on March 9th, 11:00am – 4:00pm to find the perfect program for your kids!
